Zosimo Quibilan, Jr. won the 2006 Philippine National Book Awards for Short Story and the 8th Madrigal Gonzalez Best First Book Award in 2008 for his first collection called Pagluwas (University of the Philippines Press, 2006). His stories and poems have appeared in VerbSap.com, 42opus.com, bewilderingstories.com, The M-A-G, Sunday Inquirer Magazine, The Sunday Times and in Philippine anthologies Mondo Marcos (2010), Likhaan Journal of Contemporary Literature 3 (2009), Mga Kuwentong Paspasan (Milflores, 2007), Fast Food Fiction (Anvil, 2003), Ani 26 and Ani 33. He lives in South Pasadena, CA.
